Johnny's Pizza House Bossier City

I pick up pizza here multiple times/week, always between 11am and 4pm. The food is always great and theyre usually taking it out of the oven as I walk in the door. Pizza at night isn't nearly as delicious as during the day because the dough sits out on racks on the counter all day. This causes them to get a hard "skin" over the outside and the dough dries out BIG TIME. So it gets tough like cardboard at night instead of soft and bread-like like it is during the day. When it's fresh, it's KILLER. Best pizza in the entire country! So I only order during lunch hours, 11 to 4, to ensure I get good crust. This isn't anything against this specific store. It's like this at every Johnny's. I'm guessing it has to do with how the stores are told to keep dough during the day. They flatten out 40 or 50 or more screens of dough and then sit them in racks all day instead of keeping them in the walk-in or whatever it takes to keep them from drying out. And so by 5pm, they're nothing like the crust you get at 11am. It's like 2 entirely different pizza companies. That's how much different it is. I, personally, don't like the cardboard crust you get at night. I've actually worked 2 Johnny's Pizza stores here in Bossier City so I'm somewhat familiar with procedures, etc... Anyway. Johnny's is my absolute favorite pizza ever so I eat at this store A LOT. They make great pizza! That's why I go there so much.

There's lots of competition around this area for Pizza but so far no one has compared to Johnny's Pizza House. They have some fantastic specialty pizzas and their staff is very prompt when it comes to ordering online and having it ready to pick up when you arrive. Our kids really love it too!

The service was mediocre, no complaints but no compliments either. Waited 30 minutes on a pizza, but considering there’s no Johnny’s Pizza in Texas, it was worth the wait.

I had never heard of Johnny's before being from Dallas but my wife used to work here a long time ago. She swore the pizza was amazing and it definitely lives up to it! The pizza is always perfect and I especially love the crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Everything we come to visit family, we stop by to grab a pizza because it's the best!

By far the best pizza I have had from a johnnys pizza! Definitely got our money's worth. Normally the other locations are stingy with the bacon/toppings. This pizza was evenly covered as it should be. Staff was great and food was phenomenal

Johnny’s Pizza is a unique staple of Louisiana and a place which I and all my friends who have moved away try to get again anytime we return to town to visit. The pizza here is unique and unlike any other I’ve ever had - I love it. I’ve enjoyed truly gourmet pizza fired in a real coal oven and this is not the same, but for the last 40 years of my life... only Johnny’s Pizza tastes like Johnny’s... and I pray they never change.

This Johnny's was great because it gets a lot of lunch buffet traffic. That keeps the buffet fresh and makes a huge difference. Lots of different pizza choices plus a salad bar to make you feel slightly healthy.
